Danica has introduced 100% organic unbleached cotton items in their tabletop, kitchen and bath collections certified by SKAL International. From placemats, napkins and tea towels to the newest addition of bath robes and towels, the organic cotton is grown without pesticides, insecticides and defoliants. No chemicals or dyes are used in the production process. Danica also introduced our ONE LESS tote bag with the aim of reducing the use of plastic grocery bags.
PRACTICES
A percentage of the profit on the sale of Danica product goes to the Giving World Foundation. The primary mission of Giving World is to help disadvantaged people become self-reliant by providing a handhold, not a handout. All of our catalogs are printed on FSC approved paper and product is shipped in used cartons with recycled packaging materials made from shredded cartons no longer suitable for shipping.

Bamboo charcoal is an environmentally-friendly product, produced from the rapidly growing moso bamboo. The plant has countless tiny holes that give the resulting bamboo charcoal its revolutionary abilities as both a deodorizer and dehumidifier.
Bamboo forests are widely planted throughout Asia, and due to the resurgence in the recognition of its benefits, many more acres are planted every day. And as moso bamboo takes only five years from seedling to mature plant, it will readily available for all future generations.
