Redevelopment of Montreal's Quartier Bonaventure Keynote Topic at ICSC Quebec Conference

NEW YORK, NY - The renewal and sustainable development of Montreal's Quartier Bonaventure is the subject of the keynote address at International Council of Shopping Centers' Quebec Conference, being held June 9-10, 2010 in Montreal.

Lucie St. Pierre, a partner at Groupe IBI/DAA and vice-president of the Landscape Architecture Department for the redevelopment of Quartier Bonaventure, will discuss the real estate development opportunities the project offers Montreal's business community. St. Pierre will touch on a number of benefits including:

  • draw of the Montreal brand, which will benefit Quartier Bonaventure
  • multifunctional features of the project: business, office, residential
  • priority given to mass active transit
  • meaningful steps taken in sustainable development
  • quality of the public domain and importance of public art in various aspects of the landscaping
  • efforts made to ensure the organization and the creation of a true living environment

In addition, the ICSC reports that the 2010 Quebec Conference exhibition hours have been changed to Wednesday, June 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
